Oval Opal Triplet Cabochon

This opal triplet is 13mm width by 18mm length, 4mm depth and weighs 6.9ct. The reason why they call this stone a triplet is because it utilizes three stones that equal its entirety. The top stone is a quartz, the center stone is the opal and the back stone is a black onyx used behind the thin sheet of opal to bring out the fire in it. The primary colors reflected in this stone are green, blue and red.
