Joshua Tree National Park
We arrived in Henderson, Nevada, to the same hotel as the week before. We were very comfortable at the Hampton Inn & Suites. To our surprise, they served dinner at no additional charge. We ate pork sliders with coleslaw and a strawberry shortcake for dessert.
After a restful night, we ate another wonderful breakfast and headed toward California on I-95. We arrived at the Joshua Tree National Park, to find out there was no camping fee due to the US government shutdown. We had no reservations. The ranger at the north gate told us to just look around the campgrounds and he would be stopping by the next morning to issue us a permission note for the campsite.
We found the perfect campsite at White Tank campground and the view was amazing.

Campsite #8 included a grill and a firepit
We set up camp, then walked around to see the different rock formations. Of interest was this formation of an alien, looking in our direction. This was a good sign for us.

The next morning after breakfast, we drove around the park and found Skull rock. This place was crowded with people climbing on the rocks and the trails.

Skull rock
Near Skull rock, we found a birthing canal of Mother Earth. We walked through it to find yellow flowers and more rocks to climb on. The energy felt clean and clear to me.

Birth canal
Back at camp, we stargazed in the evening after we took a short hike in the area finding a heart on its side.

Heart rock
The next day, we hiked to the Arch rock formation. On the trail, everyone was friendly and helping each other find the trails that were no readily marked.

The Arch
After climbing up to the arch, we hiked to the big puffy heart that is very popular with people.

Heart Rock
Lance and I walked around to the back of the heart rock and placed our palms and crowns on the heart. We silently expressed our gratitude and love for Mother Earth and all people. We accepted any downloads to be given.
That night, an owl came to our campsite and hooted. It was magical! Great Horned owls have adapted to the park to live there.
On the 26th, the campground emptied. A man showed up and set up across the road from us. It was clear he wanted to left alone and we honored him. He set up a 6-person tent.
Lance had gone to bed. I stayed outside and meditated with the sensing technique. Semjase came and spoke with me.
While meditating, I could smell a very strong fragrance of incense. It was almost overwhelming. I got up and looked across the road and did not see any fire or incense burning. I returned to my camping chair and continued meditation. Perhaps, Spirit was letting me know they were here with me.
Later that night, when I was in bed, I heard a very long tone in my right ear at 1:30am.
On the 27th of October, we woke up to discover our propane gas was diminished. Although there was plenty of gas in the 2 tanks, Lance felt it was a gas flow problem. We were able to heat up water for our coffee. We ate a simple breakfast, then broke camp to return home.
We hope you enjoyed our trip.
